Live, Love, Laugh

I have had a lot of time lately to think about things. Either at work, while jogging, cleaning the house, or just sitting on the couch, my mind has been going to 100 different places. I will say, I am one lucky girl.

  • I have the most amazing husband anyone could ever ask for. I  can't even begin to list the reasons why he is so perfect for me. He takes care of me and loves me unconditionally. He supports all of my crazy ideas and decisions. He is patient. He keeps me grounded and is my best friend!
  • We were told by JC's nephew Shaun when he looks at us and our relationship, it's like Christmas morning. I love that.  I still get butterflies when I see him after a long day apart. Our love is real.

  • My family is the absolute best. They have supported my every decision in life. They love my husband as if he was their own son, brother, grandson, uncle and nephew, and they always have. They have advised me in life without being condescending and are always there for me when I need them.

  • My friends are incredible. I have so much fun with them. They love JC and enjoy hanging out with him too. I can go to them for anything without being judged. They are honest with me. I wouldn't switch my friends for anyone else.

I am not sure if anyone can be so lucky... I don't know a whole lot of people that can say they have what I have. I am not bragging. I know everyone has good people in there life wheather its a friend or a sister, but I can truley say that I have the best husband, friends(or partner, Erin), Mom, Dad, Brothers and their wives (they are my sis-in-laws but I consider than my sisters), Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Grandparants.

God has given me everything I want and need!!

I love quotes! I feel these quotes were written for me...
some words have been changed to suit me better

-Whatever you do, good or bad, people will always have something negative to say.

-To be your friend was all I ever wanted; to be your lover was all I ever dreamed

-Life isn't hard. People with their needless complications and unnecessary lies make it that way.

- Carry yourself like a queen and you will attract a king.

- I don't care if anyone you doesn't don't like me. I was not born in this world to entertain everyone you.

-You're nothing short of my everything

- If you don't know me, then good luck...I'm pretty tired of explaining myself.

-Proverbs 10:12
Hatred stirs up dissension, but love covers over all wrongs.

- It's not what people call you, it's what you answer to.

-1 John 4:8
Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love

Truth Hour

There are not many things I hate dislike in the world. Matter of fact I am generally a very optimistic, happy girl. But there are a few things that really irritate me...
 (in no particular order)

1. Being Late
2. Exaggeration
3. Lying
4. Laziness
5. Cursing
6. Loud Chewers
7. Slanderers
8. Gossip
9. Not being true to yourself
10. Immaturity
11. Video Games
Photo

Now...I don't mind video games to a certain extent, but they should not, in my opinion, be played multiple nights in a row. Especially if you have wife and/or kids there with you.

Clearwater Beach

Being a Tennessean and all I don't get to see the beach very often so I was one happy
camper when we got to go to Clearwater! I could be on the beach ALL day.

Did I mention how much I LOVE the beach!?

 Clearwater has the prettiest sunsets.

After I took this beautiful sunset we got back into the water and started looking for shells to take back for my niece and nephews. All of the sudden something started splashing in the water about 20 feet away. We looked up a dolphin was jumping. Oh my gosh, it was so amazing!

Man Cave!!!!!

My living room has turned into a Man Cave!!

J.C. has been begging me since we have been married to hang all of his Miami Dolphins decor up in our living room...I didn't want our living room being sports theme so I wouldn't let him told him that I would rather the room look a little more welcoming. :)

Well last night he asked me again and I caved (<--- hahahaha) in. Here is our new and not-so-much-improved living room!

Rugs, pillows, curtains, pictures, the whole 9 yards
                  (haha...ok, last one)

Our movie collection...Notice our picture is on the ground.

Our lovely fireplace that is now
                                 Miami Dolphins!

And on top of that Spike sits right in the living room!!! JC did buy me Spike a cactus with pink flowers.

On a serious note, JC is SO happy to have the Miami Dolphins decor up. And because he is that happy, so am I!

Baptism & Birthday

Today was an amazing day!!! My nephew Jarrid turned 5 today. I think he was most excited to move up to his brothers class at church. He said "today is my birthday and I am 5, and I get to go to Caydins class today". I adore my nephews! (my niece Aulbrey too)

Church service this morning was AWESOME!! It started off with baptisms...My brother Josh, my nephew Caydin, my sister-in-law Chrissy, and a few others were all Baptized. After that, Pastor David gave an amazing sermon. I LOVE Life Church.

This is Caydin getting baptized.

Chrissy's turn. I love this picture!
Here is Josh getting baptized. I think it was so sweet that Jarrid walked up as he was getting baptized and looked over at him. Precious.

I am truly blessed. I have the BEST church & church family, the BEST husband, the BEST family, I LOVE my life!!!!!

TBFRT2011!

Three Best Friends Road Trip 2011! So... Erin is moving to Colorado and J.C. and I decided to hitch a ride for a road trip! We have been sooo excited about this trip for a month now!

Before we left for our road trip we went for one last Nashville, TN adventure...We boarded the General Jackson to see the Country Music USA show featuring my amazing husband.
Oh my gosh, he did so great!

After the show we anxiously waited outside for him to get off the boat so we could begin our adventure. He finally made it off and after a few goodbyes we  headed out.

Erin drove first and we made it through 3 states before sunrise. We had to stop and take a picture at every state line with the Welcome sign. I don't think getting out on the side of the interstate at 2am was very smart, sorry Momma, but we definately had to do it! Totally worth it.

We visited the St. Louis Arch but at 3:30am we couldn't get close, so we found another arch....

J.C. took over the reigns and we headed through Illinois where we saw this beautiful sunrise!

In between drivers someone would get some sleep..
(Erin made me remove the picture of herself sleeping. I found something that resembled her the most!)

Twelve hours later we made it to Ames,Iowa! Erin's friend Quinton was is being so generous to allow us to stay with him tonight. Tomorrow morning we are on the road again going through Nebraska then Colorado!!!!! I am so excited for Colorado: Pikes Peak, Red Rock Amphitheater, Rocky Mountains...AHHH!!!

Stay Tuned for more TBFRT2011...

Blessings Here, There, and Everywhere...

I woke up today thinking it was going to be an ordinary Monday. But, it turned out to be the most amazing Monday that I can remember.

I got to work and it felt like the artic! But being frozen the whole day didn't ruin my day!

I called a paintshop to see about getting J.C's car painted. (We have been comparing prices for weeks now) I found the perfect place. With the help of my Momma, we are getting our car painted for about half the price as anywhere else. The paintshop is only charging us for labor. They said they have extra paint in the back that they need to get rid of so they are giving it to us for FREE!!! Our His car will be ready in about 4 days!
He's so Handsome!!

After we left paintshop we stopped by animal shelter to see if the kitten we rescued and gave them was adopted or not. And I was so happy to hear that he was adopted about 4 days ago. They said his broken leg healed on his own and he was jumping and playing all the time. I still miss that little thang.

Beside those blessings, we also have financial blessings today. We have so much to be thankful for. Today has been purrrfect!!! (haha, had to do it)

My little family...

I have the most amazing family! We are really tight-knit. I couldn't ask for a more supportive and loving family. This is my immediate family Mom, Dad, brothers, sis-in-laws, nephews, and niece.

We have another niece on the way that I am SO excited about. She is due October 6 and she is already spoiled rotten!

We love our lives.
On our wedding day June 5, 2010

Our first born Sonnie. lol

Last is Spike but not least, Spike. This is J.C's bearded dragon.
 I don't claim him.

This is us! For those that always ask, no we don't have children, yes we want them. Hopefully sooner than later. God is blessing us more and more each day. Our careers and finances are finally coming together so it's in Gods hands.

I'm joining the blog world...

So...I am new to this whole blogging world. I really enjoy reading other "bloggers" and which has inspired me to try it out. I don't think I will be a good blogger at first, but I do hope that one day my blogs will be as fun to read as everyone elses.

I am going to keep this one simple.  I have no clue how to use this blog and don't know how to make it pretty, but I will definately learn.

Until next time...
